Grab & Go Meals are back!

Muskie Families, 

The following announcement is being shared on behalf of the MCSD Food & Nutrition Department. 

Starting today, Monday, July 11, 2022, the following meal sites are once again able to offer grab & go meals. This was a change that came from the federal government and we are doing our best to quickly adjust to serve our families. We can once again provide lunch and a breakfast meal for the following day. This is available at the following meal sites through Friday, August 5th. 

 

Franklin Elementary

Jefferson Elementary

Madison Elementary

Cedar Hills & Cedar Park Apartments 

Highway 61; M&W & Ripley’s 

Salvation Army of Muscatine County 

 

**PLEASE NOTE** MCSD Food & Nutrition team is able to bring back the weekly meal pick-up program which contains 7 days of breakfast and 7 days of lunches. This program will start on Wednesday, July 20th, and will run through Wednesday, August 3rd. Families that have participated in June do NOT need to complete a new survey. 

For those wanting to take part, please click HERE to complete the meal survey. Note you will need to complete one survey for EACH child in your household. Those who complete the survey will then pick up the weekly meals at Muscatine High School between 11 am and 1 pm on Wednesday, July 20, Wednesday, July 27, and the last day offered to be Wednesday, August 3rd. Please note; that some families that completed surveys who did not show up twice for the weekly meal pickup in June were removed from the list. A new survey(s) must be completed to take part in the meal pickups as listed above (dates offered; 07/20, 07/27, & 08/03).
