Administrative Regulations – Public Address Announcements

  1. The school’s public address system will be used only for school announcements.
  2. School organizations requesting to have information posted within their building shall do so in the following manner:
    1. The posting shall be given to the school administration.  If approved, the posting will be placed on the bulletin board.
    2. The information contained in the posting shall not be disruptive to the educational process or to the student body.
    3. Postings must include the name of the sponsoring agency and the name and telephone number of a contact person.
  3. All other school and non-school organizations requesting to have information posted in the schools shall do so in the following manner:
    1. The posting shall be reviewed by the Superintendent or his/her designee.  If approved, the posting will be sent out to the buildings from the Administration Office.
    2. The information contained in the posting shall not be disruptive to the educational process or to the student body.
    3. Postings must include the name of the sponsoring agency and the name and telephone number of a contact person.

 

Administrative Regulations – Distribution of Non-School Publications by Students

  1. The principal must be given a copy of the material that is to be handed out prior to its distribution by the student.
  2. The material cannot be disruptive, obscene, defamatory, cause potential psychological impairment and must be age level appropriate.
  3. Material can be distributed only by students who are enrolled in that particular school.
  4. The principal shall establish where and when the distribution of all non-school publications shall be made.
