As you look through this website, you will find highlights of our efforts to meet our mission statement, with an emphasis on “every student”. The programs described are new to Muscatine, and are unique to Iowa, but are modeled after strategies that are producing greater levels of student success, as well as increased student achievement in innovative sites across the United States.

We are committed to change and improvement in order to prepare our students for a very different economic future. Successful schools of the past, without change, will not produce enough students capable of creating a successful future. The world of today and of tomorrow is demanding a new level of learning, producing, thinking, and working together. More than ever before, the economic future of our students, our families, of Muscatine, as well as of the United States, depends on our success in preparing students who can compete globally.
