I grew up in Washington, Iowa. Mine was a wonderful childhood filled with terrific parents, four younger siblings, and lots of cousins and friends to do things with. I was active on swim team, and scouting. At the end of eighth grade, we moved to a family farm near Winfield, Iowa. I was involved in cheerleading, student government, yearbook, and many other activities.
My husband is a retired assistant fire chief for the MFD. We have two daughters. Jennifer is an artist in California. Kaitlyn is completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design Arts at the University of Iowa. My daughters were involved in numerous sporting, school, and civic activities while growing up in Muscatine.
I like many books! I read a lot of non-fiction and historical fiction books, but one of my favorite all-time favorite books is called BELL PRATER’S BOY by Ruth White.
All acts performed in the world begin in the imagination.

I listen to many genres of music, and I have no favorite artist. Some days I listen to classic rock or pop; other days I might listen to rhythm and blues or classic music.
