9/13/2009 -A note from the Safety Committee
The Safety Committee would like to thank those who submitted safety suggestions since the implementation of the new form. All suggestions are reviewed when received. The committee meets quarterly and evaluates them at their regular meetings. Here is a brief update of what has been received thus far:
Several have been submitted, including some regarding water fountains at West Middle School and parking issues at various locations. The water fountains have since been repaired and the district is trying to address the parking issues on a individual basis.
Please continue to submit your ideas for workplace safety. Keep in mind that some suggestions may be beyond the authority of the Safety Committee, but in those cases, they will be passed on to the appropriate people.
As always, any immediate threats to safety should be addressed with your direct supervisor.
Remember to have a good autumn (notice we did not say “FALL” *smile*) and always keep safety in mind!
Now click the link below and enjoy this light-hearted look at some things that would not fit our safety standards.
