Mulberry's AR TEST
List
updated December 2004
Many parents have asked if a specific book is an AR book or not. Mulberry has placed its AR TEST list on the internet for your convenience. This is the list of all the tests we currently have with each title's author, AR reading level and AR point value. Please remember that just about any book can become an AR book if we purchase the test. . Also please note that although we may have a specific test, that does not guarantee that we will have that book. Before the advent of custom CD's we had to buy test CD's with specific sets of tests on them. Contact Mrs. Lofgren, our media specialist, if you would like to help by donating towards the purchase of additional AR test CD's or books.
We will update this list about every trimester (we generally don't purchase books or tests more often than that).
About the lists - We have over 6400 AR tests. Figuring about 30-40 titles per screen it would be about 150+
web pages long. Putting all the text of the titles, authors, points and
levels on a web page would make it unmanageable.
DISTRICT'S AR DATABASE !
However, if you prefer to use a searchable database, the Muscatine Community School district has compiled a list of
all the schools' AR tests. The school district database list 6265 tests.
As of December 2004 we had 6417 tests in our computer, so the district's
database is a little dated, but not too much.

The three formats we will use for downloads are: a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, a "Rich Text Format" file and a Text file. Read the explanation of each format below.
EXCEL - If you download this
file you will be able to manipulate the data. You can sort by grade, reading
level, author, or points. However you may need to have Microsoft Office
installed on your computer..., but maybe not. Many other spreadsheet programs
can import an EXCEL spreadsheet. If you think this is the file you want,
download the file here. (if you have problems downloading this file you
may have to right click on this link and scroll to "save target to
disk")
DOWNLOAD
EXCEL AR LIST(about 650kb long)
RICH TEXT FORMAT - This is a generic
type of a text file. It is very computer friendly and should be able to
be opened by almost any word processor on any platform (Macintosh or Windows).
The list will be tabbed so all the titles should be in a very easy to read
column format. The list may not be sortable in this format, but most word
processing programs can convert it to your spreadsheet program, making it
sortable. (if you have problems downloading this file you may have to right
click on this link and scroll to "save target to disk")
DOWNLOAD RICH TEXT
FORMAT AR LIST(about 1.3 mb long)... not sure why it
is so large)
TEXT format - This is the most
generic of all. Each new title will have its own line, but the columns will
not be straight. You may or may not be able to convert this appropriately
to a spreadsheet program.
DOWNLOAD TEXT FORMAT AR LIST(about 320kb long)
All of the lists are sorted alphabetically by title. Each list is about 100 pages long. In any of the formats you should be able to locate a specific title using your program's "FIND" function.
