CMS Daily Announcements / White Day – Tuesday, January 20th

Book battle participants – Book 2 is due Jan 26th.  Captains -make sure that your team is on the ball and up-to-date.  Please make a team sign by Jan 26th with your names and team name to be posted in the library.

Help your homeroom make it to the dodgeball tournament by getting those Box Tops to your homeroom container by January 23.

Attention SLG members and advisors – An SLG meeting has been added for Monday, Jan. 26th, during homeroom in Mrs. Moeller’s room.  We will remind you again as it gets closer but wanted to give you a heads up.  Thanks!

Congratulations to Ian Chapman for winning the School Geography Bee.  Runners up were Erin Elshoff and Kaylei Fear.  Ian will go on to the Qualifying Round for the State Competition.

Science Bowl Practice will take place Wednesday, January 21 in room 122.  Participants should report at the beginning of homeroom.

Swim and Boys Basketball T-shirts and Hoodies are now available for purchase!!  The T-shirts are $14 and Hoodies are $30.  Support your sport, and whether or not you are participating in an activity, you can still purchase a T or Hoodie 🙂 kh

**Swimmers:  Practice will start on February 3rd at 6:15.  Doors open at 6:00 a.m. at the High School.

**The Parent meeting for Swim will be on Monday, January 26th… 5:00 at the High School.

Book Buddies to Jefferson at the beginning of homeroom today.  Get your passes in the library now or please let Mrs. Brown know if you are unable to go so that a sub can be arranged: Nikole Molina, Kaitlyn Cawiezell, Lily Munson, Lizzy Richardson, Carissa Johnson, Tess Rauenbuehler, Haley Jarrett, Starr Covarrubias

8th grade Johnson’s homeroom book club meeting today.

Wow!  So many of you did a great job with the Major Saver card sales!  If you forgot your packet today, don’t worry.  Major Saver will be in our school everyday for one week!  Please bring your money in as soon as you collect it to get your cards and prizes.  Our representative will be set up in the cafeteria every day before school starts to fill orders.

Don’t forget about the LIMO RIDE.  Every student that sells 10 cards will win a LIMO RIDE to a PIZZA PARTY in addition to the other prizes on the back of your packet!  kh

Attention Fall Semester art students – If you have not picked up your art projects or folders, please stop by art room between classes or the last 5 minutes of homeroom. Left behind project will be recycled Friday, the 23rd
