CMS Daily Announcements   Green Day  Wednesday, December 10th

The CMS 8th grade girls’ basketball team travelled to Eldridge to play the North Scott Gray team.  While the first half of the game remained close, the Lancers ended up pulling away from the Chargers, 28-19.  The girls played hard and worked well together despite the loss.  Leading the Chargers were Haley Jarrett, Vada Fridley, Emmie Smith, and Kayla Scholz each scoring 2 points; Yesenia Love added 4 points, and Macey Rogers scored 7 points last night.  The B team played North Scott to a 21-21 tie.  It was a great, hard-fought game that was very enjoyable to see.  Leading the B team for the Chargers were Lela Schmidt, Samantha Menjivar, and Grace Kpor with 2 points each; Sierra Long added 6 points, and Lily Vela led the B team with 9 points.  The 8th grade Chargers finish their season next week Tuesday, December 16 at 4:00 against the Davenport Williams Intermediate School.  We appreciate your support and look forward to our next game at home.  GO CHARGERS!!!
