Grant’s “Coins for Christmas” Information and News Channel 4 Video

Emma Yerington, who is in Mrs. Kill’s 2nd grade class, has started an organization entitled, “Coins for Christmas”.  Emma’s goal for this year is to purchase Christmas gifts for all the children that are currently residing at the homeless shelter in Muscatine, IA.  There are currently 15 children at the shelter and Emma wants to make their Christmas a very special one.  Emma is asking for donations of loose change.  Bills are also accepted.  Each classroom at Grant School has a special box that the students can put their loose change into the collection boxes.  Emma and her family will collect the boxes on Friday December 16th.  Should you have any questions or would like to know more, you may contact Grant School at 263-7005.
