** Daily News & Information **

• TONIGHT, July 30th, MHS Parent/Player Football Meeting in the MHS Auditorium starting at 
  5:15pm. The Lift-a-thon will begin approximately at 6pm following the meeting. We will start out at the practice field. Please enter MHS through the Greenhouse entrance doors.
• LifeTouch Picture Day is Friday, August 10 from 7am-4 pm in the Gym Foyer.  ALL MHS students should have their picture taken.
• Back to School night is August 22 from 6-8 pm. Stop in and meet your teachers, find your lockers, see your friends!
• New Muskie Day (ALL 9th grade students) is Thursday, August 23rd. (1st football game at Brady St. Stadium vs. Dav. Central!)
• ALL MHS students report Friday, August 24th.
• Interested in Girls’ Cross Country?  Summer practices start at 8am.  Mandatory practices start Monday, August 6th.  If interested, contact Coach Tim Armstrong at tim.armstrong@mcsdonline.org
• The MHS gym is closed until August 5 for cleaning.
• Senior Resources is looking for dependable, hardworking Chore Workers to provide lawn care services for Seniors in our community. Positions open immediately. $10 per hour!!   5th-8th grade July 31-Aug 2, 8:00-10:30am
  9th-12th grade July 31-Aug 2, 5:00-8:00pm
• Muskie Youth Soccer Camp: The MHS Girls’ Soccer Team is putting on a Muskie Youth Soccer Camp August 13-15, Players will be able to interact with the MHS players while learning new kills, participating in fun games, and scrimmaging others. 
  • Grades 2 – 4  8 – 1- am
  • Grades 5 – 7  10am-12pm
  • Registration fee: $5
  • To register, contact the Muscatine Parks & Recreation Dept. at (563) 263-0241.  A tee-shirt and a Day Pass to the Muscatine Aquatic Center are included in the registration fee.

• 2018-19 AP Human Geography: If you are taking AP Human Geography next year, and didn’t pick up your summer assignment, you can pick up your summer assignment at the Attendance Office.
