Photo IDs

Security and safety are major points of emphasis in schools across the country.   A major facet of building security is the ability of staff to easily identify students and adults walking our halls.   All staff and students are required to carry a photo identification badge.   In the first week of school, each student will be issued two picture ID cards.  An ID card must be carried at all times throughout the school day.   Failure to show the ID card, when requested, will result in disciplinary consequences established by grade level administration.   Replacement cards may be requested for a $5.00 replacement fee.

The Identification card is also designed to be “student friendly” and will have a “Bar Code” to allow students to access library materials & technology for checkout and lunch accounts through the school lunch program.   It will also be used to determine those students who have permission to leave the building for expanded academic opportunities off campus.
