Auditions for the CMS musical are today November 25th after school. Grab an audition form and come try out for this great comedy!  I know you will enjoy it!!!  Anyone in the school may audition for the musical.

Just a reminder, Wednesday is a two hour early out day.  We will be dismissing at 1:25…Have a great Thanksgiving!!!!

Congratulations to the 8th grade Girls’ Basketball Team for its thrilling double overtime victory over Davenport Sudlow Intermediate School by the score of 30-27.  It was a great defensive battle the entire game.  All the girls contributed to the win with their aggressive play.  Leading the Chargers in scoring were Yesenia Love with 2 points, Haley Jarrett added 5 points, both Vada Fridley and Kayla Scholz each scored 6 points, and Macey Rogers contributed 11 points for the victory.  The B Team was led by Grace Kpor scoring 1 point and Skylene Banter adding 2 points.  The Chargers play again this afternoon against the Bettendorf Bulldogs Black team here at Central Middle School, starting at 4 pm.  Thanks for all of your support!!  GO CHARGERS!!!

Please check the lost and found in 210 and in the hall across from the main office.  We have many items that have been unclaimed such as coats, jackets, hats, etc….

Attention Students – Next week we will be MAP testing in your reading and math classes.  Make sure you bring your laptop fully charged for testing next week.

Since we did not have Talent Show try-out’s Monday morning because of the 2 hr. late start, we will re-schedule morning try-out’s for Wednesday, Nov. 26th from 7:45 – 8:15 a.m.  We will still have Talent show tryouts today, Tuesday, Nov. 25th after school 3:30 –  4:30 p.m. Students trying out who need music should bring their own music.  Try-out’s will be held in the Little Theater.  Hope to see you there!

Attention SLG members and advisors – The next regularly scheduled SLG meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 1st, during homeroom in Room 322 (Mrs. Paul’s room).  Please check in with your homeroom teacher before reporting to the meeting.

Yearbook all-team meeting Monday, Dec. 8th.

PBIS Celebration! Our 2nd quarter PBIS celebration will be on December 19th and we will be decorating cookies! We are asking that students and parents donate frosting to use for decorating the cookies! Please bring frosting (Only new/unopened) into the main office! Thanks for supporting positive behavior at CMS!
