Congratulations to the CMS Mock trial team.  They WON their regional mock trial competition! There were approximately 220 teams that competed across the state and winning this regional puts Central Middle School in the top 32 teams in the state.

WRESTLING and GIRLS BASKETBALL T-shirts and hoodies available for order.  The cost is $14 for t-shirts and $30 for hoodies.  Deadline is November 13th.  kh

6th grade book club meeting in homeroom in the library after SSR today – yearbook photo and discussion of Girl Who Could Fly.  7th and 8th grade book club members come to the library after SSR on Monday, November 10th for yearbook photo.

Tuesday, November 14th there will be a field trip to the Putnam Museum for the 7th grade class.  Busses will leave at 8:45 and will return back to Central at 2:45. Students will need to bring a sack lunch or purchase a school bag lunch. We are looking for parent chaperones for this trip; the cost for adults to attend is $7.00.  This must be paid in advance by Wednesday, November 5th. Parents will need to provide their own transportation as bus seating is limited.

Attention CMS students – do you have a special talent?  Can you sing, dance, or play an instrument?  If so – we want you in our annual CMS Talent Show!  This year’s talent show will be held on Friday, Dec. 19th.  There are three opportunities to try-out to be a part of this awesome show.  Try-out’s will be held on:  *Thursday, Nov. 20th after school 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

*Monday, Nov. 24th before school 7:45 – 8:20 a.m.

*Tuesday, Nov. 25th after school 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Students trying out who need music should bring their own music.  Try-out’s will be held in the Little Theater.  Please sign up for a try-out slot in the guidance office.  Thank you!
