Please check the lost and found in 210 and in the hall across from the main office.  We have many items that have been unclaimed such as coats, jackets, hats, etc….we will be donating the coats to Family Resource Center.  if they are not claimed by December 19th.  Don’t wait to find your coat!

The 8th grade girls’ basketball team was once again victorious as they were able to defeat the Davenport J B Young Intermediate School team by a score of 48-7  All of the girls contributed positively in the team’s victory.  Scoring four points last night were Haley Jarrett, Kayla Scholz, and Yesenia Love.  Callie Kellett added 7 points and Emmie Smith scored 8 points.  Vada Fridley was able to score 10 points, and Macey Rogers scored 11 points in the Chargers’ win.  The next game will be on Thursday, December 4 as they travel to Pleasant Valley.  Thanks for everyone’s support!!!  GO CHARGERS!!!

If you tried out for the Talent Show – Listen Up!  A final listing of all acts that are included in the CMS Talent Show is posted outside of the guidance office on 1st floor.  If you specific music for your act, please bring it to the guidance office.  If you used a link on your computer – please e-mail Alys Burns the specific link to YouTube.   We will have a rehearsal the morning of the Talent Show on Dec. 19th.  In the mean time, be practicing your act!  Thank you!

Way to go Central!  We have collected 64 books and 15 pairs of PJs for our Jefferson buddies.  Keep up the good work.  We need 15 pairs of pjs.  Our book goal has been met but we will be glad to collect more.  For an updated list of pj sizes needed look on the CMS Library webpage or click http://3rdfloorlibrary.blogspot.com/

Yearbook all-team meeting next Monday, Dec. 8th.

PBIS Celebration! Our 2nd quarter PBIS celebration will be on December 19th and we will be decorating cookies! We are asking that students and parents donate frosting to use for decorating the cookies! Please bring frosting (Only new/unopened) into the main office! Thanks for supporting positive behavior at CMS!

7th grade Narhwals Book Club lunch today (Wed)!  All Book Club students who want to participate in our talent show act come to the library WED after SSR.  Jefferson book buddies stop by the library to get your passes.
