Congratulations to the 8th grade girls and boys track teams in winning the track meet last evening at Clinton.  Go Chargers.

Band chocolate is now $6.00 per box.  Talk to Mr. Rickard for more details.

All 8th grade,  we need pictures!  If you have any pictures capturing events of this school year of you and your friends please email them to Sierra Long or Janine Arnold.  We are creating a slide show for 8th grade recognition. Please give us 5 -10 pictures max.  We want to get as many students from the 8th grade represented in the slide show. Deadline is May 8th.

We will be selling rose pens during the morning program and at lunch. We have mustache and cheetah print and poke-a-dots.  Cost is $1

The last Box Tops Challenge for the year has been issued.  Homerooms will once again be vying for a spot in a Box Tops Dodge Ball Tournament.  The challenge will start on April 20 and will end on May 4.  Bring in those Box Tops and help your homeroom win the challenge.

Please check your lunch accounts because starting May 1st until the end of the year you will no longer be able to charge your lunch. If you don’t have any money in your account or money with you, you will not be able to eat lunch or breakfast. You may still deposit money into your lunch account. (The proceeding needs to remain in the announcements through May 1st)

Jefferson buddies pick up passes

A reading celebration will be taking place on Friday, May 1st, during homeroom. Please have a free reading book ready! A delicious snack will be provided for you while you enjoy reading your free reading book.

The CMS library will be hosting the last book fair of the year from May 7th-12th. All books are buy one, get one free. Please come check out the selection and stock up on some great summer reads!

All 8th grade boys interested in trying out for the MHS baseball team will have the opportunity to do so on Tuesday, May 5th at 4pm at Tom Bruner Field.
