The Central Middle School Holiday Concert will take place on Thursday, December 13th at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive and be seated by 6:15 p.m. Students may wear festive holiday sweaters, Santa Hats, Reindeer Antlers as long as they do not light up or make a sound. Please dress up and look your best!

Jan. 3 – Classes resume
8th grade football players-Strength & Conditioning will be held at the Muscatine High School weight room has started. Pick up an informational packet outside the attendance office.
Winterguard – Are you interested in trying out Color Guard? Well here is your chance if you have watched the marching bands halftime show and thought that tossing and spinning the flags and other equipment looked fun, then this is a great time to try it out. Winterguard will meet on Thursday afternoons from 4 – 5 pm during the months of November and December in First Baptist Church’s gym – 3003 Mulberry Ave. Whether you can make it to every session or just a couple we would love for you to join us on November 29th, December 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Winterguard is open to anyone in grades 6th – 12th from beginners to those who already are part of the Color Guard team. Laney Berry, Debbie Dunsmore, and Pam Joslyn, recipients of the Catherine Miller Explorer Award, would like to share their 2018 travel experiences provided by the Stanley Foundation. The three Muscatine teachers are excited to present their travel adventures, including their understanding and appreciation for other cultures. They will be at the Musser Public Library Room 301 on the following dates.

We have a few extra yearbooks from last year if anyone is interested. They are $10.
From the Athletic Department~ In order for your 7th/8th grade student to participate in a sport, 3 forms will need to be turned in to the Central Middle School Athletic Department/Attendance Office:
1) Central Middle School Athletic Form ~ signed by parent/guardian and student athlete, good for the school year participating
2) Concussion Form ~ signed by parent/guardian and student athlete, good for the school year participating
3) Iowa Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Examination form ~ signed my medical licensed professional and parent/guardian, good for 13 months from the date of physical. These can be found online on the Central Middle School site under Activities & Athletics or can be picked up at CMS.
