Thank you to everyone for their support in the can drive. We have totaled up our numbers on the spreadsheet and it looks like the winners are as follows:

8th Grade- McCreary Periods 1/4.
Congratulations to Zander Rudolph for reaching the 6,000 page challenge. Way to go, Zander! (Please announce on Tuesday. Thanks!)
All library books are due May 29! All students who have returned all their books by the end of Wednesday, May 29 will be entered in a drawing to win a prize!
On Friday, May 31st CMS will be going to the aquatic center. Please remember to bring sunscreen, a towel, a swimsuit and your lunch if you didn’t sign up for a school sack lunch. Since we will be walking to the pool, it is important that you wear tennis shoes. If your parent is planning on picking you up from the pool, please make these arrangements ahead of time. If it is raining, we will have activities at Central. Students who didn’t sign up for a lunch will need to make sure they bring one.
We will have a Color Guard informational meeting for members, perspective members, and parents on Thursday, May 30th at 7pm in the High School Band Room. We will introduce guard leadership, talk about the summer and fall schedules along with expectations and time commitments. 8th Grade Students – If you are interested in Key Club next year, pick up information outside the attendance office.
There are copies of the girls basketball open gym schedule located outside the attendance office.
Boys basketball camp information can be found outside the Attendance Office.
8th Grade Recognition will be held on Monday, June 3 at 12:00 in the Auditorium, with a celebration following in the cafeteria.

Muscatine summer wrestling camp will take place in the MHS wrestling. Please pick up a flyer outside the attendance office.
Attention 8th grade students! If you are 14 years old or will be by June and would like to make some money this summer, please stop by the counselor’s office to pick up information about detasseling.
6th and 7th grade girls can stop by the attendance office to get information on the Muskie Basketball Camp that will take place in June.
MuscaBus offers free route bus rides to students K-12, including graduating seniors, for the summer. This goes from June 5 to August 22. Service runs 6:30am to 5:00pm M-F and 8:30 to 4:00 on Saturday.
Summer Food Service Program: Summer Food Service Information
**This is a message from the school nurse at CMS**
If your child has non-prescription medications here at school, such as Tylenol or Motrin, it will be sent home with your student during the week of May 27th unless otherwise noted.
No medication will be stored at Central during the summer months. Medication left at CMS after June 14th will be disposed of according to federal law regulations.
