It is a GOLD Day


The Muscatine Community YMCA will be hosting Middle School Movie Night on Friday, March 2nd from 6-9pm.  The event is free for all 6th-8th graders.  Daddy’s Home 2 will be the movie, popcorn and soda for snacks and a recreation activity after the show! If you are interested in participating in track and field, sign up in the attendance office. You need to have the CMS athletic form, concussion form and physical form turned in to practice and participate in meets.


7th Grade Book Club will meet Wednesday during lunch. 6th Grade Book Club will meet on Thursday during lunch.


Students – Please check the Lost and Found for coats, sweatshirts, hats, and lunch boxes. We will donate all things from Lost and Found to local charities during Spring Break. Thank you. Mr. Wright.


Congratulations to 6th graders Grace Zorich, Nick Schell, and Caden Brown for reaching the 6,000 page reading goal! Keep up the great work, Grace, Nick, and Caden!



On Wednesday, February 28,  we will hold a pre-departure Washington D.C. meeting for those families registered to travel 2018. We will meet at 5:30pm in the Library at Central Middle School to go over final trip details and answer any remaining questions you may have.
