Morning Announcements for students

Attention 8th grade students! If you are 14 years old and would like to make money this summer, please stop by the counselor’s office to pick up information about detasseling.

We are starting to get neighborhood complaints about how students are going through our neighbors yards, knocking things down, or climbing in their trees. Part of learning to be a good citizen is respecting other’s property and rights. We talk about being respectful at school and we ask that you be respectful on your way to and from school. Our neighborhood, is your neighborhood. Please treat our neighbors and their property with respect.

The price of the leftover band candy has been lowered to $5.00 a box.  Talk to Mr. RIckard if interested.

Congratulations to Diego Carranza, Ceci Freers, and Patrick Loeffler for completing the 6th grade reading challenge! Way to Go!

We are taking orders for the yearbook. Yearbooks are $16 and can be paid for in the main office.

Library books on hold for Javier Sixtos, Hanna Michaelsen, Zane brockert, Ngui Dodo, & Cesar Chapa-Sepolveda.

If you are going to be in high school next year and are interested in trying out for Muskie Cheerleading, stop into the attendance office for a packet with all the important information you need to know.

New Boundary Look Up Tool Available!

Posted: 15 Mar 2016 08:55 AM PDT

There is now a new “boundary” lookup tool for parents to use for determining which school a certain address “should” attend. It’s very easy and intuitive. (It DOES NOT indicate whether a student should ride the bus or walk.)

  • To use it full screen click the “full screen” button in the upper right-hand corner of the map interface.
  • You can use the sprocket icon to choose which “layers” are shown. By default only the district layer is shown, but you can change that to elementary boundaries, middle school etc.
  • When you search an address it will show you which elementary, middle school and high school (only one choice) that address should attend.
  • You can also click the directions and it will use google maps to plot walking or driving directions from the home to the school.
