The Muscatine Community YMCA will be playing host to daily programming from 1-4pm each weekday during the winter break. There is something for everyone; Nerf Wars, Floor Hockey, Movie Day, 3 on 3 Basketball, Video Games, and Dodgeball.  The activities are free for members and nonmembers. With the devastating weather we saw down south earlier this year, many local supporters sent their resources in that direction.  Our local food banks are very low on supplies.  Our Student Leadership Group (SLG) is collecting canned foods this week and next to support our Muskie Locker and local shelters.  Please consider making a donation to help our school and community.  The grade level that brings in the most canned food items will have a celebration in the gym during homeroom.

7th and 8th grade boys interested in participating in boys basketball sign up in the attendance office.

6th grade boys you can find information on Parks-n-Recs Basketball Clinic, Baseball Fundamentals Clinic, and Pitching Clinic in the rack outside the attendance office. 6th grade girls you can find information about Parks-n-Rec Softball Clinic and 6th grade girls and boys there is information about Parks-n-Rec Shooting Clinic for Basketball in the rack. Have you ordered your yearbook? Yearbooks must be ordered before winter break. The cost is $16 and can be paid in the main office or online InTouch. We can only order the amount that is paid for. We are unable to order extra copies. If you ordered a West Middle School Yearbook, you will need to contact the main office to get your order changed to a Central yearbook.

Central MS Holiday Choir Concert

The CMS Concert will take place on Thursday, December 14th at 6:30 in the CMS Auditorium.

Students should arrive and be seated by 6:15 p.m. Please no t-shirt, jeans with rip or holes, and no sweatshirt/hoodies.  Students may wear Santa hats, reindeer antlers, and Holiday sweaters.  Please nothing with flashing lights or makes sound.
