Morning Announcements for students:

Just a reminder the Chorus Concert will be held tonight, Thursday October 15th, at 6:30 in the Central Auditorium.

SLG will meeting tomorrow, Friday October 16th, 7:15-8:20 in the Art Room.

Thursday the library will close at 11:30 for the remainder of the day.

Just a reminder that all 7th and 8th grade volleyball uniforms need to be in to Mrs. Moeller by Friday.

If you want to participate in the Teen Reading Challenge don’t forget to log minutes you read.  The challenge ends Oct. 24th.

Friday, Oct.16th – A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Mr. Hogenson, and Ms. Petersen for getting BRAND NEW SHINY RHINO DODGE BALLS for our Morning Program!!

Congratulations to both 8th grade Gold and Purple football team on winning the last game of the season!!  Gold team finishing their game at 16-14 ending their season with a 4 wins 2 loss season.  The Purple team ending their game with a score of 24-22 and ending their season with a 4 wins and 2 losses.  A great big Charger shout out to all football players and coaches!!!  Thank you for a great season Chargers:)

Upcoming dates to remember:

Parent Teacher Conferences for Central Middle School. These will be walk-in conferences [we will not have appointments]

October 19 – 4:15pm to 7:30pm in the gym

October 20 – 4:15pm to 7:30pm in the gym

October 22 –   1:45 pm to 3:45 pm in teacher classrooms

October 22 will be a 2 hour early release for students

October 23 No School

8th grade students will be taking a college visit to the University of Northern Iowa on Tuesday, October 27th. Please check with your student for a parent letter with more details.

Students who want to participate in school sports need to have these forms on file at school~

*an up to date physical-on the school’s form parents need to sign the back

*a CMS Athletic Form-this needs to be signed by both parent and student

*a Concussion Form-this also needs to be signed by both parent and student

These forms can be found on the CMS school website or can be picked up in the attendance office.
