Thursday is -Red/Green Day

The Muscatine Community YMCA will be playing host to daily programming from 1-4pm each weekday during the winter break. There is something for everyone; Nerf Wars, Floor Hockey, Movie Day, 3 on 3 Basketball, Video Games, and Dodgeball.  The activities are free for members and nonmembers. Students – Please check our Lost & Found Box in Mr. Wright’s Room. There are several coats & jackets still not claimed. If they are still there on Friday, they will be donated to local charities.

Attention 7th graders who have P.E. today!  DO NOT GO TO LUNCH BEFORE P.E.  If you have P.E. 5th period, come to P.E. after fourth period and you will eat lunch with the 8th graders AFTER 5th period P.E.  …. I repeat, If you have P.E. 5th period, come straight to P.E. after fourth period….

With the devastating weather we saw down south earlier this year, many local supporters sent their resources in that direction.  Our local food banks are very low on supplies.  Our Student Leadership Group (SLG) is collecting canned foods this week and next to support our Muskie Locker and local shelters.  Please consider making a donation to help our school and community.  The grade level that brings in the most canned food items will have a celebration in the gym during homeroom.

6th grade boys you can find information on Parks-n-Recs Basketball Clinic, Baseball Fundamentals Clinic, and Pitching Clinic in the rack outside the attendance office. 6th grade girls you can find information about Parks-n-Rec Softball Clinic and 6th grade girls and boys there is information about Parks-n-Rec Clinic for Basketball in the rack.

Students interested in participating in the Little Muskie Cheer Clinic forms are outside the attendance office.

Have you ordered your yearbook? Yearbook deadline has changed. You must have your order in by February 25,  The cost is $16 and can be paid in the main office or online InTouch. We can only order the amount that is paid for. We are unable to order extra copies. If you ordered a West Middle School Yearbook, you will need to contact the main office to get your order changed to a Central yearbook.
