Today is a PURPLE Day




7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball and 7th and 8th Grade Wrestling sign up is in the attendance office. Practice begins Monday, October 16th.


The sixth grade is currently in the lead with over a 1,000 Box Tops.   Will the 7th or 8th grade catch the 6th grade by October 16?  


Today is the last day for the Penny Wars Challenge.  The homeroom STILL in the lead for the Avengers is Mrs. Larson-Walgren’s homeroom and the homeroom in last place by over 100 dollars is STILL Mr. Hurlbert’s homeroom.   The homeroom in the lead for Justice League is Mrs. Beatty’s homeroom and the homeroom in the last place is STiLL Mrs. Carey’s homeroom.   Today is your last day to help your homeroom win and to support MCSA.


Reminder – Morning Program Gym Students: If you are holding a basketball or closest to the basketball when the whistle blows, it is your responsibility to put that basketball away. Thank you for your cooperation in the gym.




Families- Next Monday and Tuesday will be our field trip days for sixth grade. Please remember to have your child wear comfortable shoes. There will be a lot of walking both days. Please check the weather and be sure your child is dressed accordingly. Also, if your child signed up to bring their own lunch, please remember to send one both Monday and Tuesday. We are looking forward to these awesome learning activities with your children.

When dropping off your students in the morning please do not block the bus lane on Cedar Street.  

When picking up your students after school on 9th Street please do not park in the middle of the street of the Street.  It is blocking the traffic that is trying to get through.  Thank you for your help on this matter.
