Morning Announcements for students:

Congratulations to Abigail Yerington and Elizabeth Mireles for their successful election as BizTown Mayors. A big thank you and pat on the back for all the Mayoral candidates. All thirteen candidates bravely stepped up to run as Mayor and wrote and videotaped excellent speeches. CMS 6th graders, be sure to let them know you are proud of their efforts on your behalf.  Also, 6th graders, give yourself a pat on the back for being responsible citizens by exercising your right to vote.

Only six days left to catch Christenson?   Help your ELA classroom take the lead and bring your Box Tops to your ELA teacher by October 12 and earn a treat for every 10 Box Tops.

Today is MUSKIE Homecoming!!

6th grade – Do you love to read good books and talk about them with friends?  If yes, make plans to come to book club for lunch today.   Bring a sack lunch or get a styrofoam tray in the cafeteria then quietly come up to the library!  Next week-  7th grade book club TUES, Oct 13 and  8th grade on WED, Oct 14.

Parent Teacher Conferences for Central Middle School. These will be walk-in conferences [we will not have appointments]

October 19 – 4:15pm to 7:30pm in the gym

October 20 – 4:15pm to 7:30pm in the gym

October 22 –   1:45 pm to 3:45 pm in teacher classrooms

October 22 will be a 2 hour early release for students
