CMS Daily Announcements~Friday, November 18th~White Day

SLG committee is meeting Friday, November 18th during 8th period in room 318.

The girls got off to a quick start as Emma Yerington scored on the first possession of the game on a nifty pass from Bree Seaman and the Charger girls never looked back cruising to victory.

The Trio of Meadow Freers, Mya Jensesn and Bree Seaman led the team in scoring.  Also contributing to a well balanced scoring attack were Emma and Abigal Yerington, Ally Franke, Indiana Stephens, Cecee Freers and Jocelyn Torres.

The girls played very well together and showed great teamwork.

In the second game Davenport Smart won a hard fought close game.  Scoring for Central were Maddie Heater,  Keira Joe Kruezenstein, Cecee Freers, Ally Franke and Indy Stephens.  The girls gave a great effort all night.  

Way to go lady Chargers!  The coaches are very proud of your great attitude and effort.

There will be a meeting for all book buddies in the library on Monday Nov 21 after SSR because there will be changes to the schedule after Thanksgiving.  Let Mrs. Brown know if you cannot attend.

New:  Today is the last day the recognition committee will be selling Thanksgiving Thankful grams. You can send your friends a gift to let them know how much you appreciate them.  Small grams are 50 cents and large grams are $1.  If you are stilling wanting to purchase a gram see Ms Arnold in room 206 today.  All proceeds go to funding the 8th grade recognition party.

Today is Spare change friday.  Bring in your coins or spare change and donate to the recognition fund. The more money we raise, the better party we get. Some one will be coming around in homeroom to collect your change.

8th grade students and parents, there are only two spaces left for Washington DC trip.  If you are interested, please come see, call or email Mrs. Calder

303 items have already been collected for the 6th Grade CAN Drive.  Please bring nonperishable items to your 6th grade homeroom class before November 21 to support the Muscatine Food Pantry.

The second quarter Box Tops Challenge has been declared.  Bring your Box Tops to your ELA Teacher and help your grade win the challenge.

Check out the Lost & Found Coat Rack in the 2nd floor hallway! Your coat or sweatshirt might be there! There are 4 lunch boxes on the rack as well. Only 1 week left before ALL Lost and Found coats go to our Muscatine Charities…They are Thankful for our coats.

The Muscatine Orchestra Boosters are once again selling Flower Cards through the Flower Gallery in Muscatine.  For $30, you will receive a card that entitles you to 1 bouquet of flowers from The Flower Gallery each month in 2017.  Yes, that means you are getting 12 bouquets for only $30!  Talk to any 7th & 8th grade orchestra student or Ms. Blanchard to get yours!  We will be selling them until we run out.
