Mr. Chidester’s  PE Students will be doing the Mile Run Fitness test today,  Students please remember to bring your inhalers for those who use them and bring a jacket or a sweatshirt.

 

Reminder for the morning cafeteria Rules:

 

  • Students need to report to cafeteria when entering the building
  • No OPENED beverages or containers of any kind will be allowed in the cafeteria
  • ALL  food and drink are to be at tables 1-7  ONLY

 

Retake Picture Date has been set:  Friday October 21st

 

All 7th and 8th grade volleyball girls need to turn in their washed uniforms to Mrs. Moeller by the end of the week.

 

A BIG Thank You to all sixth grade students and staff that participated in the Penny Wars.  The sixth grade raised 374 dollars for MCSA and collecting over 40 jars of peanut butter and jelly.  Ms. Stadtwald’s homeroom won the challenge for the Avengers and Mrs. Kinsey’s homeroom won the challenge for the Justice League.  The science teachers from both teams came in last and will be highlighted at an upcoming assembly.

 

Practice for wrestling and girls basketball begins Monday, October 17th after school. Wrestlers you will ride the bus over to West.

 

Attention SLG members, we have a meeting Wednesday in the art room during homeroom.

 

Log your reading minutes until Oct 22nd for a chance to go to the party and earn prizes.

For Parents:

 

The Central Middle School Fall Masquerade Choir Concert will take place on Thursday, October 20th at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Auditorium. Students should arrive, check in,  and be seated by 6:15 p.m. Students may dress up in a school appropriate Halloween costume of their choice. Please do not wear any mask that will cover your mouth. If you have a question regarding a costume, please talk with Mr. Tolle. If you are not dressing up, please dress up and look your best! Please remember this is part of your grade so attending is highly recommended.

 

Please have your students check our lost and found in room 212, there are lots of items.
