School will resume on Tuesday January 3, 2017  It will be a White Day for CMS


7th and 8th grade girls and boys if you are interested in swimming for the Middle School Swim Team sign up in the attendance office. Practices begin Monday, January 30th, 2017.


There will be a SEA meeting today during 8th period. Please see Ms. Gacke, Ms. Christenson, or Ms. Moellenbeck for passes. The meeting will be in the cafeteria.


There will be no morning jazz band rehearsals until after Christmas Break.

Due to today’s shortened schedule there will be no regularly scheduled lessons today.


Attention SLG members helping with the talent show. 7th Graders that missed Wednesday’s meeting will need to report to the art room Friday, the 16th.


Book battle participants don’t forget that the questions for the first book are due Jan 4th.  That’s right after break.  


Check out the Lost & Found Coat Rack in the 2nd floor hallway! Your coat or sweatshirt might be there! The weather is getting colder. Only a few weeks left before ALL Lost and Found coats go to our Muscatine Charities.

The Muscatine Orchestra Boosters are once again selling Flower Cards through the Flower Gallery in Muscatine.  For $30, you will receive a card that entitles you to 1 bouquet of flowers from The Flower Gallery each month in 2017.  Yes, that means you are getting 12 bouquets for only $30!  Talk to any 7th & 8th grade orchestra student or Ms. Blanchard to get yours!  We will be selling them until we run out.

Take a break from shopping and come to Boonies on the Avenue to help support your Muscatine High School Boy’s and Girl’s Golf Teams. We are wanting to get new golf bags for the 2017 season and your support will directly accomplish this goal.


Monday Dec 19th from 5:00pm – Close.
