From the Athletic Department~For grades 7th and 8th. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 is the first day of school and the first day of practice for football, volleyball and cross country. In order to PRACTICE and PARTICIPATE, the following FORMS HAVE TO BE TURNED INTO THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE:                                                                                                                          

*Central Middle School Athletic Form-signed by parent and student. Good for 1 school year, 2016-2017.

*Physical-filled out by doctor and also signed by parent. Good for 13 months from date of physical.

*Concussion Form-signed by parent and student. Good for 1 school year, 2016-2017.

These forms can be found on the CMS school site or picked up in the attendance office and can be mailed in or dropped off when completed.

Cross Country, football and volleyball t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts are available for purchase. Order forms are available in the Attendance/Athletic Office. T-shirts are $15 and hooded sweatshirts are $30. Orders are due: Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Any 8th grader interested in playing baseball for the Muskie 14U baseball program our encouraged to attend a tryout on Saturday, September 10th at 9am at Tom Bruner Field (rain date September 11th at 1pm). This team will play in various tournaments throughout the Spring/Summer. Players will learn the skills and fundamentals that will prepare them to be a part of the Muscatine High School Baseball program.
