Band students:  Lessons officially start tomorrow (wed) however, if you have a Tuesday lesson and want to get started early you can see Mr. Rickard in 317 during your lesson time.

 

The first Box Tops challenge for the year has been announced….Bring your Box Tops to your ELA teacher by September 19 and help your grade level win the challenge.

 

Yearbooks are $16 and are still available for purchase.

 

Orders for cross country, football and volleyball t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts are due into the attendance office by Wednesday, August 31st.

 

For Parent/Teacher Announcements:  

Lifetouch Pictures will be taken September 16.  Order forms will be sent home next week.

 

Please let the office know if there is any problem dropping off or picking up your student.  We would be glad to try and help.

Volleyball Practice for 7th & 8th  will be every day after school from 3:30-5:00

 

Football Practice for 7th & 8th will be every day after school at West from 3:30-5:00.  Students will be bussed over to West for the practice but, parents are in charge of picking up their students at West.

 

Cross Country practice for 7th and 8th will be at Central from 3:30-5:00.

 

Any 8th grader interested in playing baseball for the Muskie 14U baseball program our encouraged to attend a tryout on Saturday, September 10th at 9am at Tom Bruner Field (rain date September 11th at 1pm). This team will play in various tournaments throughout the Spring/Summer. Players will learn the skills and fundamentals that will prepare them to be a part of the Muscatine High School Baseball program. Student Info

All students interested in working at any of our athletic events this school year, and getting paid a little bit, please sign up in the attendance office by the end of the day on Wednesday, August 31st.  Students will be selected based on availability, academic and behavioral performance in school, among other factors.  If you have any questions, please see or have someone contact Mr. Walthart or Mr, Wright at Central, and Mr. Olmstead or Ms. Hartman at West.  Thank you.
