Basketball Announcement for 7th grade Central girls.

The 7th grade Central girls basketball team opened the season with a great team win over the visiting Bettendorf girls.

Mya Jensen led all scorers and played an outstanding all around game.

The Chargers also got strong inside scoring and rebounding from Meadow Freers and sisters Abigal and Emma Yerington.

Bree Seamon provided strong leadership and played a very strong floor game from the point guard position, contributing to the victory in many different ways.

The team also got solid contributions off the bench in particular from Abigal Stamler who got some timely rebound baskets.

Nice team win girls …….

The Central girls gave a great effort in the reserve game only to fall short in a very exciting finish by 2 points.  They were led in scoring by Indiana Stephens.  Other ladies contributing to the scoring in the game were Jocelynn Torres, Bosena Smith,  Arianna Aguialar and Mykenah Potoff.  Great job girls ……

Applications for the Veterans Day stars are available in the cafeteria. Please fill one out for someone you know that is or has served in the Military.

There will be jazz band Thursday of this week at 7:30 A.M.

Show Choir Students: Pick up November Show Choir Schedule in the folder outside the Choir Room.

Winterguard will begin on November 5th, 9 am-12pm, in the West MS old gym.  The show this year will be titled “Villains.”  Anyone interested in learning about flags, rifles, sabres, and Guard should attend!  No experience needed, we will teach you!  Bring a friend!

Have you ever wanted to act and sing? Why not try out for the Central/West Musical! This year we will be doing Elf the Musical. This show is funny and a lot of fun. Wrestlers~you will be catching bus 16-4 for transportation to West for practice at the corner of  Mulberry and 9th Streets.
