Parent/Student (8th grade) informational meeting for the Close Up Washington D.C. Trip (April 9-13, 2017) will be Tuesday, October 4th @ 6 PM in the West Middle School Library. For questions email matt.rivera@mcsdonline.org. Cost is approximately $1800.
Sign up sheets for Girls Basketball and Wrestling are now up in the attendance office, stop in and sign up if you are interested in participating.
Student Leadership would like to announce that it is Muskie Homecoming Week. We will be celebrating with them by having Spirit Week this week.
Tomorrow will be Jersey Day (wear your favorite team’s jersey)
Friday- Muskie Spirit Day (bedeck yourself in purple and gold)
Show Choir Tryouts will take place today, Tuesday, September 27th and Wednesday, October 5th from 3:30-5:30. Any 6-8th grade student may audition. Auditions will consist of a dance audition followed by the vocal audition of My Country Tis of Thee. If chosen, practices will be one morning and one after school practice.
Library books on hold for:
6th grade book club meeting on Thursday. 7th grade next Monday.
The 8th Grade GOLD HOME football game on Thursday, September 29th, will now be played at West Middle School (due to HOMECOMING activities on the high school field.)
Yearbook info:
The meeting for Wednesday September 28th is canceled. The meeting for Thursday September 29th at 7:40 is still on. Students please check your email.
To All Students:
Just a friendly reminder of Morning Program expectations.
All food is to stay at tables 1-6.
Please keep the noise level to where you are able to talk with the person next to you without yelling.
Once you have arrived in the cafeteria please decide if you are going to eat breakfast or just sit with friends. I inphaze sitting.
If you have plans on going to the gym or balcony. The cut off time is 8:15. Once you have arrived at the gym or balcony you are to stay in that area unless instructed to leave or the 8:20 bell rings.
If you are a student and you are coming from the gym area and the bell hasn’t rang yet. Please do not use the hallway between the gym and cafeteria to exit to your classrooms.
Last but not least. We know that all of you are very anxious to get to class but if you are in the cafeteria please stay seated until the 8:20 bell rings.
