The Muscatine Community School District will be offering excess furniture such as student desks, teacher desks, file cabinets, and miscellaneous other school furniture to any interested persons at three elementary school locations, Colorado Elementary at 149 Colorado Street, Madison Elementary at 1820 1st Avenue, and Franklin Elementary at 219 Taylor St. Items will be given away on a first come first serve basis on Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. No reservations; items must be taken the day of give-a-way. No phone calls, please.
