Dear Virtual Learning Parents,

Welcome to MCSD Virtual Learning! Our teachers have been working hard preparing for the upcoming weeks of school. Since registration has been ongoing and ever-changing these last couple weeks, teachers received their official class list yesterday. If they haven’t already, they will be contacting you about setting up Class Dojo, technology set up, and times they can meet with you individually (virtually or in-person) to go over the many things needed to know to help your child’s virtual learning experience be a success. As a result of the time it takes to set up virtual learning and meeting with parents individually,  we will be starting virtual classes on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Monday and Tuesday will be for parent/student contact and handing out student materials they will need for a successful start of the school year. We do have basic student supplies and student computers/ipads ready for pick up at your home school building this Thursday, August 20 and August 21st from 8:00-4:00. Please make sure you have all of your information in PowerSchool current (please call your child’s school with any PowerSchool updates), so your child’s virtual teacher can reach out to you!

APRENDIZAJE VIRTUAL PK-6

Estimados Padres de Aprendizaje Virtual, 

¡Bienvenidos al Aprendizaje Virtual de MCSD! Nuestros maestros han estado trabajando arduamente preparándose para las próximas semanas de clases. Dado que el registro ha sido continuo y en constante cambio estas últimas dos semanas, los maestros recibieron ayer su lista oficial de clases. Si aún no lo han hecho, se comunicarán con usted para establecer la configuración de Class Dojo, la configuración de la tecnología y las horas en las que pueden reunirse con usted individualmente (virtualmente o en persona) para repasar las muchas cosas que necesita saber para poder ayudar a su hijo y así lograr que tenga una experiencia de aprendizaje virtual exitoso. Como resultado del tiempo que conlleva configurar el aprendizaje virtual y la reunión con los padres individualmente,  comenzaremos las clases virtuales el miércoles 26 de agosto de 2020. El lunes y martes serán para contactar los padres/estudiantes y para entregar los materiales que necesitarán para un comienzo de año escolar exitoso. Tenemos materiales escolares básicos y computadoras / ipads para estudiantes listos para recoger en su edificio escolar este jueves 20 de agosto y 21 de agosto de 8: 00-4: 00. Por favor asegúrese de tener toda su información actualizada en PowerSchool ( favor de llamar a la escuela de su hijo con las actualizaciones de PowerSchool), ¡para que el maestro virtual de su hijo pueda comunicarse con usted! Debería llamar al edificio escolar  de su hijo para recibir actualizaciones.
