    Make sure to order your shirt by August 27th in order for it to arrive by the homecoming game!

MHS Building Hours – Registration assistance is available!   8am-4pm Monday through Friday
Assistance is also available by calling Muscatine High School at 563-263-6141.

MHS Vehicle Registration/Vehicle Tag: Vehicle registration is included as part of online student registration with NO FEE.  If you answer “Yes” to “Will this student drive a vehicle to school?” under Vehicle Registration, you will be required to fill in the Vehicle License Plate, Vehicle Make and Vehicle Model fields.
Vehicle Tags can be picked up from the Student Services office.

  • Fall Athletes: If you have not turned in your Concussion Form, Parent Permission Form or do not have a current Physical Form on file, please turn these forms in ASAP to the Athletics Office so you can practice.  Parent Permission Form    Concussion Form     Physical Form
  • Juniors & Seniors – Study Hall Exemption Forms: Any Junior or Senior wanting to be exempted from Study Hall will need to have an exemption form (attached) signed by their parent/guardian. Students are expected to attend Study Hall until it has been removed from their schedule.  Please bring signed forms to Mrs. Chatfield in room 12-001 and she will get them to your grade level administrator for approval. 2019-20 Study Hall Exemption Form

  • Volleyball practices and try-outs for all grades 9-12 begin on Monday, August 12-16 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.

  • MHS Activity Department-Muskie Booster Club Fall Kick-off: August 22nd at the MHS Stadium.  Muskie Booster Club will be serving dinner from 5-7pm for $7, extra sandwich, $4. Athletic/Activities participant announcements begin at 6pm.   MUSKIE BOOSTER CLUB FALL KICK-OFF FLYER

  • Senior Pictures for the Yearbook: Senior pictures can be uploaded to the Jostens website in November – date to be determined. (Directions will be sent out on the process of uploading pictures at that time.) Please watch announcements for more information!

** Silver Cord Opportunities **

  • Volunteers needed for Crossroads Carnival August 24th: The volunteer shift times are: 9am-11am for set-up, 11am-1pm to run a game/station, 1pm-3pm to run a game/station, 3pm-4pm for clean-up. They are welcome to volunteer all day, if desired. If interested, please contact Shanon Johnson at (563) 263-3545 or
  • McKinley Elementary is looking for high school volunteers who would like Silver cord hours for our Muskie Family Night.  Our Muskie Family Night is September 5th from 5-7pm. We are looking for babysitters. If you are interested please contact Joelle McConnaha 563-260-7122.
  • Mulberry Elementary is looking for help unboxing and and shelving our library next week August 12th- 16th. If you are interested please contact Stacy Olson at
  • Mulberry Elementary is looking for some high school volunteers who need silver cord hours for our Muskie Family Night.  Our Muskie Family Night is September 5th from 5-7pm. We are looking for babysitters and students to help serve food. If you are interested please contact Stacy Olson at
  • The MCSD Food & Nutrition Dept is looking for MHS students to help students at elementary schools with breakfast cards & getting through the serving lines any time from 7-8am during the 2019-2020 school year.
