• Muscatine High School invites you to join us in celebrating a Hollywood themed homecoming this year! In order to raise Muskie spirit, the MHS Student Council would like to offer an opportunity to order homecoming t-shirts. The football game is a Gold Out this year to raise awareness for childhood cancers. We hope to see you Friday, September 15th in your gold shirts supporting our Muskies! 
• Junior Bowling League at the RoseBowl in Muscatine. RoseBowl will be having an intro “Bowling Party” on Monday, September 11th at 6 pm. The RoseBowl will provide free pop and pizza to the bowlers. It will be the kick off to sign up bowlers for the Junior Bowling League that starts on September 18th. The price is $7 per person every Monday and runs for 30 weeks.  Teams will be formed once the number of participants is known. You can bowl on the same team with friends if you wish – it is meant to fun!
• Informational Baseball Meeting: There will be a brief informational meeting on Wednesday, August 30 at noon in the auditorium for anyone (grades 9-12) interested in playing Muskie Baseball for the 2017-18 school year. Information regarding academics and off-season expectations will be discussed.
• The Bonnie & Houser Gates will be open from 5 am to 9:30 am then open again at 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

• Linda’s Linens will be having a Style Show during September “Second Saturday” (Sept.9) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. at 129 E. 2nd Street  (next to Flower Gallery).  She will have Free, Consigned and New Dresses on display (limited amount of free dresses on style show).
  
• Fall Play Auditions! • rSchoolToday: In an effort to more effectively and efficiently communicate, Muscatine High School will be utilizing a new activities scheduler program entitled rSchoolToday Athletic Scheduler. The program will provide better access to schedules, locations/directions to events, rosters, and changes to the afore-mentioned items.  Below is the link to our site — which is a work-in-progress site at this time. Please feel free to explore the site (the Notify Me tab on the right will allow you to be immediately notified of any changes made to MHS events. Our plan is to eventually list all events at Muscatine High School onto rSchoolToday.  rSchoolToday
• School/ID Pictures: If you missed the first picture day, LifeTouch will be at MHS on Sept. 5 from 7 am – 11 am in the  MHS Commons. ALL students, 9th-12th grade, need to have their picture taken for the yearbook, regardless if you purchase them or not.  Remaining picture date is October 2.
