MHS Announcements – August 29, 2016

Go Muskies!

  • Good luck to all of our students in athletic / activity competitions this week!
  • Looking for a safe atmosphere to share your thoughts and ideas regarding a variety of topics?  Then All Kinds Of People Jr. (AKOP Jr.) is the club for you to join! Formerly we were known as the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), but after reading the mission statement, it was decided we needed a more all-encompassing name. This club is  student-run in a high school or middle school that brings together students to support each other, provide a safe place to socialize, and create a platform to fight for racial, gender, LGBTQ, and economic justice. If this sounds interesting to you please come to Mrs. Walker’s classroom (Room 130 in the Science Hall) Wednesday, September 14th at 3:45 pm. There will be snacks and drinks provided for this first meeting of the year. (Last years members please stop and see Mrs. Walker Wednesday 8/31 in her room at 3:35 pm.
