The Bob Bannister Memorial Scholarship was established by family, friends and colleagues in honor of the late Bob Bannister, an active volunteer and avid supporter of the Iowa Motor Truck Association for over 20 years. Bob was known throughout the industry for his knowledge of the industry and his love of the association. This scholarship was established as a way to keep his spirit alive and honor a true friend to Iowa’s trucking industry.

The Cummins Central Power Scholarship was established by an endowment from Cummins Central Power and is specifically earmarked for individuals pursuing a degree in diesel technology.

The Darryl Mason Memorial Scholarship was established as a way for Darryl to give back to the industry he loved. Darryl was a professional truck driver and a long-time participant in the Iowa Truck Driving Championships. Over the years, Darryl received numerous awards for his professionalism and commitment to safety and also earned a coveted spot on Iowa’s Road Team. Darryl passed away in August 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer, and the IMCF is proud to keep his legacy alive through a scholarship named after this great individual.

The Harold Dickey Memorial Scholarship was established by an endowment from the Dickey family in honor of the late Harold Dickey, founder of Dickey Transport, Inc. and former chairman of the IMTA. This scholarship is awarded to a student from southeast Iowa. (The Harold Dickey Memorial Scholarship has a separate application – Visit www.iowamotortruck.com to access)

As one of the largest truck parts distributors in the Midwest, MWC is proud and honored to offer a scholarship opportunity to an individual who is pursuing a higher education. MWC has seven branches and serves a customer base in Iowa and its six neighboring states.

The Motor-Ways, Inc. Scholarship was established by an endowment from Pat Storey and MotorWays, Inc.
