- Senior Survivor Packets due TODAY: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast! Senior Survivor 2018 begins Monday, February 26th! Any male or female seniors wishing to participate should pick up a sign-up packet in the Attendance Office. Packets need to be completed and submitted to Mrs. Walsh (room 12-008, old room 140) by Friday, Jan. 5th at 3:30 pm.
- K-POP Club meets on Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:30 in Rm 11-023 K-Pop Club Info
- Driver’s Ed: Students that have signed up for Driver’s Ed, classes will begin on January 8th in Room 11-022 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Please bring a pencil/pen to class.

- Black Hawk College Health Career Pathway Program for 9th-12th graders:
Spend two Saturday mornings getting hands-on experience and interacting with BHC health sciences instructors and investigating the challenges and rewards of the following careers: Medical assisting; CNA (certified nursing assistant); Surgical technician; RN (registered nurse); EMT (emergency medical technician); and Physical therapy assistant.
Dates and times: 2 Saturdays- January 27 and February 3 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm
Location: Health Sciences Center Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus. Fee: $99
Registration form can be picked up in Student Services Office (online registration is NOT an option) Deadlines: Registration ends Wednesday, January 24

- Model UN: Paper Night for Chicago is this Sunday, January 7th from 3:00-5:00 pm in Ms. Hansen’s room (11-024). Position papers are due on Monday, January 8th.
- MHS Varsity Basketball will be playing at the Wells Fargo Advisors Shootout at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids on January 13th: Tickets are $10, 6 and under free. Tickets are good for the entire event. Tickets on sale through Friday, Jan. 5 in the AD Office-rm 11-005 or contact Mike Morgan at mike.morgan@mcsdonline.org.

- Yearbook Orders: The last day for yearbook orders is February 12th. Order yours today at the Attendance Center – $56.
- Muscatine Youth Baseball Little League: Muscatine Youth Baseball Little League Inf
- Girls’ High School Soccer Open Gym: Open gyms will start again January 7th and every Sunday after until March 4th which will be the last open gym.
- Boys’ High School Soccer Open Gyms are on Sundays from 2-4 pm in the main gym. There will be NO open gym on December 24, possibly the 31st. Open gyms will start again January 7th and every Sunday after until soccer practice begins in March.

** Silver Cord Opportunities **
- River City Show Choir Showcase: Volunteers are needed to help with the River City Show Choir Showcase, on Friday evening, January 12 and all day Saturday, January 13. You can work all day or just one shift. We need help in concessions, security and a couple other areas. If you need Silver Cord hours, or hours for NHS or Key Club just contact us and we can schedule you in. If you are interested contact Gail Ryan, 563-299-8760 (text or call) or email mgryan2@msn.com
- MCSD Food Service is looking for students who would be willing to volunteer at various elementary buildings to get the students through the breakfast line. Times would be 7:40-8:05 daily. Please email Alisha Eggers at alisha.eggers@mcsdonline.org if you are interested in volunteering.
