8 am – 3 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday 8 am – 12 pm.
August 1, Extended MHS Attendance Hours – 8 am – 7 pm

Important Dates:
| Open Now! | On-line Registration is Open. Assistance with online registration @ the Attendance Office 8-3 M-Th, 8-12 F or by calling 563-263-6616. It is recommended to use a computer vs. your phone to register using Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. https://powerschool.muscatineschools.org/public/Free & Reduced Applications available July 27, 2017 |
| Sports Forms | Please complete and turn in your Physical, Athletic, & Concussion Forms. |
| Aug. 1 | Extended MHS Attendance Office Hours 8 am – 7 pm Use the extended hours if you need assistance for online registration. |
| Aug. 11 | LifeTouch Pictures 7 am – 3 pm – MHS Commons
ALL students, 9th-12th grade, need to have their picture taken for the yearbook, regardless if you purchase them or not. Remaining picture dates are Sept. 5, and October 2. |
| Aug. 22 | MHS Open House 6 – 8 pm Check out the high school, run through your schedule, and visit with friends and staff! |
| Aug. 23 | New Muskie Day – 9th grade students only 2 hr. Early Out @ 1:30 pm
9th Grade Students have MHS all to themselves! Students will go through their schedules and meet their teachers without having the upperclassmen on this day. |
| Aug. 24 | First Day of School for ALL Grades (9-12) |
| Sept. 4 | Labor Day – No School |
- Fall Sports Forms: — Student Physicals, Athletic & Concussion Forms: If you are participating in a fall sport, please be sure to get your athletic forms in ASAP to the AD Office.
- MHS Volleyball Camp – Aug. 2 & 3 (entering grades 6-8) MHS Volleyball Camp
- Driver Ed information can be obtained from the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency (MBAEA) website – https://www.mbaea.org/en/student_programs/driver_education/
- College Connection Individual Registration (CCIR) – If your high school junior, senior or student who is part of the gifted and talented program and is interested in taking college credit courses at MCC or online through MCC while in high school, please have them see their guidance counselor or call and ask to speak to Anabelia Calderon-Flores; MCC Concurrent Advisor. acalderon-flores@eicc.edu or 563-288-6035.
