Spring MHS Parent / Teacher Walk-in Conferences

• Boy’s Tennis Players must turn in their “Health and Injury Information Card and Consent for Medical Treatment Form” to Coach Goedken in Room 21-030 (by the big glass M) before the end of today (March 9). You cannot practice without this turned in. Also, stop in the room to get an important paper.
• ATTENTION JUNIOR & SENIOR GIRLS – Win a PROM MAKEOVER sponsored by FIVE local businesses! All Muscatine High School Junior and Senior Girl students are eligible to enter. • Boys’ Soccer Practice Starts March 13.  If you have not turned in your Health and Injury Information Card, Consent for Medical Treatment and Physical forms (if this is your first sport of the year) to Coach Varela, please complete these prior to March 13. You cannot practice without these items turned in.  Forms can be picked up at the Activities Office – rm 11-007. • Muskie Supporters – CAPE (Carnival After Prom Extravaganza) – It’s not too late to VOLUNTEER or DONATE to CAPE – April 23, 2017 2017 CAPE VOLUNTEERS / DONATIONS
  CAPE is a free, safe & fun after prom event for juniors and seniors.

• Free Prom Dresses! Grandma’s Lost Button located at 209 W 2nd St. in Muscatine
  (ph. 563-263-2629 ) is sponsoring the Free Prom Dress program. Juniors and Seniors looking for a prom dress/shoes are invited to visit Grandma’s Lost Button starting Friday, March 17th from 6-8 pm and Saturday, March 18th from 10 am – 12 pm
  (and every Friday 6-8 pm and Sat. 10 am- 12 pm) until prom.
• Prom Dress Donations – Have unwanted prom dresses? Grandma’s Lost Button located at 209 W 2nd St. in Muscatine (ph. 563-263-2629) will take in used Prom Dresses for the Free Prom Dress Program. Donations can be dropped during normal store hours

• Prom Dresses and Tuxedo Rental – Linda’s Linens & Bridal Boutique located downtown Muscatine at 129 E 2nd Street (next door to The Flower Gallery) have New Prom dresses at reasonable prices and The Flower Gallery rents out Tuxes. The store also takes in Prom Dresses and other Formal Dresses for consignment if they are clean and in mint condition. Spring Break is just around the corner, so stop in and try on!! • Girls & Boys Soccer Players – Soccer Work Day Forms– Please fill out and return your Soccer Work Day Form by March 28th. Forms can be returned to your coach, CJ Joseph (boys’ soccer) or Regan Brisker (girls’ soccer). If you need a form, see Mrs. Borde in rm 11-001 (Principal’s Office). All players are expected to participate in this event on April 30.
• SOAP members wanting to participate in the Day of Caring MUST come to Mrs. Paulsen’s room (201/23-017) THIS WEEK to sign a waiver. After break will be too late!
• SOAP – There will be NO SOAP meeting this week. Have a great Spring Break!

• MHS Soccer Apparel – The Muskie Soccer Boosters has an online store available for you to purchase all of your Muskie Soccer apparel. All items will be delivered to the players at practice unless otherwise noted. First order will be sent in on March 20. The second order will be sent in April 1st. • Spring Wrestling Club – Beginning Monday, March 20th, there will be open mat every Monday night 6:00-7:30 pm on the following 10 dates: March 20, 27, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22.
• Muscatine Parks and Recreation Job Fair – The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a seasonal job fair on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course.
  
• Muscatine Cheer Program is holding their 2017 fall tryouts on Sunday, April 2nd for all current 8th – 11th graders. Packets can be picked up at the Attendance Office starting March 2nd. There will be tryout clinics on March 14th, 16th, 21st, & 23rd. Tryout practices will be held on March 28th & 30th. • The Muscatine High School Baseball program now has an online store available for you to purchase all of your Muskie Baseball apparel. The store has apparel for men, women, and youth. • Muskie Bands still have Koeze nuts and chocolate items available!  Get yours before the product is all gone!  To purchase please call 563 299 6045 or see any band student.

• McKinley Carnival – We need students to help run the school carnival games at McKinley School on Saturday, April 1st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
