AP Human Geography Summer Homework – Students taking AP Human Geography should pick up a summer homework packet from Ms. Hansen (Room 11-024).

- Freshman-Juniors – All library books and materials are due by Monday, May 22nd. If you need to keep a book longer for a class assignment, please contact Mrs. Keltner.
- The MHS Graduation Ceremony will be rebroadcasted this week t up for next week on MPW Public Access Channel 9. Check your programming for dates/times.
- EAT AT MCDONALDS!! Tuesday, May 23rd, from 5-8pm for the German Exchange Program fundraiser. They will give us 10% of all sales during that time. DANKE SCHÖN!!

- Muscatine has been assigned an IGHSAU Regional Girls’ Soccer Game on May 31st at starting at 6 pm. Muscatine will host Pleasant Valley.
- Summer Camps offered at St. Ambrose University this Summer – June 19th-20th, two-day camp with an overnight stay in our residence halls for junior and senior high school students interested in learning more about human anatomy and physiology. Students will explore organ systems on the human cadavers. Below is the link with information on all the camps. - Girls’ Cross Country Meeting – There will be a meeting Monday, May 22, from 6:30-7:00 PM in the Commons for girls interested in Cross Country. Parents are encouraged to attend. Summer running, and the upcoming season will be discussed. Questions, contact Coach Armstrong.
- Sophomores and Juniors who are enrolled in Anatomy & Physiology for 2017-18, please stop in Mr. Johnson’s room 12-0006, before the end of the school year.
- 2017-18 Class Schedules are available in PowerSchool – On the left-hand side there is a menu item ‘Next Year’s Schedule’. An email. ‘2017-18 Class Schedules’ was sent out on May 9th with instructions for questions or changes to your schedule.

- NEEDED….hosts for students from France THIS SUMMER! Language and Friendship are still looking for host families for visiting students from France. They will be here from mid-June to mid-July. You do NOT need to speak/study French; these students are looking for an immersion experience in English and the opportunity to learn about life in the USA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make an international friend.

- Muscatine Junior Tennis Tournament, July 14-16 needs volunteers for the following areas: “Court’s Cleanup Crew”, the “Check-in Table”, “First Aid-ICE-Refreshments”, and “Photographer”. The date of the actual clean-up of the courts would be Wednesday, July 12th. Looking for about 8-12 people to help clean up the courts this day. The tools to do the job I’d ask that the volunteers bring are leaf blowers, rakes, grain shovels, wheelbarrows, buckets and eye protection. Some of these items will be supplied as well. Pizza will be provided afterward for the volunteers! More volunteer opportunities for this event can be found at www.greatrivertennis.com<http://www.greatrivertennis.com. Also looking for two officials. These would be paid positions and would need to complete the USTA Officials Training.
