- Have you ever thought “I would like to try that” when you see the color guard spin and toss their flags? Well here is your opportunity!! Join Winter Guard and try it out. We will be meeting Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:15 pm beginning November 30th at 3003 Mulberry Ave in the gym (First Baptist Church Gym). - 2018 Drake University Department of Physics and Astronomy Physics Prize: Online and written test that covers first-semester high school physics material: mechanics, gravitation, conservation laws for momentum, energy and angular momentum, waves and sound. First place student will receive an unrestricted four-year, full-tuition scholarship to Drake University. Students wishing to take this test please email Ms. Milani at margaret.milani@mcsdonline.org

- The Muscatine High School Baseball program now has an online store available for you to purchase all of your Muskie Baseball apparel. The store has apparel for men, women, and youth. - Food Service Notice: Starting November 27, Student IDs will be required to purchase snacks or meals in any of the Food Service areas (Cafeteria, Library Cafe, Snackers.)
- Model UN: There will be a Chicago meeting on Tuesday, Nov 14 at 12:25 pm in Ms. Hansen’s room. Bring your computer so that you can complete the online training module. Permission forms and waivers are due!
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA): We will meet on Wednesday over the lunch hour in the Study Hall Room (22-001).
- KPOP Dance Club meets every Thursday from 3:30-4:30 in rm 11-023. KPOP Dance Club
- The Canned Food Drive is underway and ends Thursday, November 16th. Students who bring in 10 canned goods/non-perishable items (this may include cat and dog food for The Humane Society) will be given open campus lunch Friday, November 17th. Students may bring their donations to Student Services the second half of lunch. Donations will go to MCSA, The Food Pantry, and/or The Humane Society. Please be generous during this year’s Hunger Drive.
- Please support the Muscatine Boys’ Basketball Program by purchasing Muskie clothing and other Muskie products at http://shop.fancloth.com/52761/300085. The sale is through Friday, November 17th. A portion of the sales will go to the basketball program. Thank you!
- Winter Kick-Off: The Muskie Booster Club will be hosting their annual Winter Kick-Off on
Monday, Nov. 20th, starting at 7 pm. A meal consisting of a grilled sandwich, chips, cookie and drink will be served from 5:30-7. Cost is $5 and extra sandwiches can be purchased. Muskie merchandise will also be available and would make great gifts. ** Silver Cord Opportunities **
- Liberia Rescue Fund International, a non-profit organization in Muscatine, is looking for students to help in the creation of a logo for the organization. We do have some ideas of what we would like involved in the creation of the logo. If interested, please contact Victoria Zarkpah at zarkpahvictoria@gmail.com or at 563-607-0104.
(Liberia Rescue Fund International has been able to assist in different ways, but one of their main objectives is to provide school scholarships to give educational opportunities to children in the area of West Point and Monrovia, Africa.)
- Madison Elementary is looking for 4 students on Monday, December 4th from 6pm-8pm to help backstage during our holiday concert. Any interested student can email Stephanie Zillig at stephanie.zillig@mcsdonline.org
- MCSD Food Service is looking for students who would be willing to volunteer at various elementary buildings to get the students through the breakfast line. Times would be 7:40-8:05 daily. Please email Alisha Eggers at alisha.eggers@mcsdonline.org if you are interested in volunteering.
