• MODEL UN – Any sophomores, juniors, or seniors interested in attending the Chicago conference in February need to pick up a permission form today. Any juniors or seniors interested in the New York trip can pick up information as well. Forms are available in Ms. Hansen’s room.
• Auditions for the MHS spring musical, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, will be held on December 6th and December 7th. Audition times will be available from 4 pm to 6:30 both days (sign up for a time on the board outside the choir room beginning November 21st.) Millie is set in 1922 and has 6 leading roles and 10 featured roles, a large ensemble and 2 numbers that feature tap dancers. • Muscatine High School has several students interested in starting a Fencing club. We are looking for at least one adult to lead a new Fencing club at the high school. If you are interested and available to lead this new club, please contact Activities Director Andrew Werling at andy.werling@mcsdonline.org
• The NHS Induction Ceremony has been rescheduled to Dec. 4 at 2:00 pm in the Auditorium.
• Intramurals (during lunch) – Dodgeball is the winner! Sign-up is available via a Google Form sent by Mr. Werling or a sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board outside of the Athletic Office. Sign up deadline is the end of the day on Monday, Nov. 21. The gym will not be accessible while intramurals are played. If you currently play basketball in the gym during lunch, please consider signing up and be aware that the gym will not be available.
• Winter Sports & Activities Kickoff will be held on November 21st in the MHS Gymnasium starting at 7 PM. Muskie Booster Club Meal by Avenue Subs will be available for $5 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Cafeteria. See flyer for complete event details. Winter Kickoff Information
  K-Pop – K-Pop will meet in the Commons every Tuesday and Friday after school. Join in to learn new dance moves! Hope to see you there!

• Parents – The Carnival After Prom Extravaganza (CAPE) Committee are in need of someone to chair the Large Prizes Committee and someone to chair the Games Committee. (The Large Prize committee gets to shop! and the Games Committee get to plan and imagine fun games to be played!) If interested, please contact Mark & Amy Fortenbacher at 410bocr@gmail.com
• Mr. Muscatine tickets are on sale in front of Student Services during lunch. Tickets are $5. The Mr. Muscatine Pageant will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd starting at 8:30 am in the Auditorium. (Doors will open at 8 a.m.)
• The Muskie Band’s annual nut fundraiser is underway! Order cashews, mixed nuts, puddles, and chocolate dipped cherries, toffee almonds, malted milk balls, and other sweet treats now – they make great holiday gifts or a treat for yourself!For a flyer with pictures and prices, or to make a purchase, call 299-8082, email jstogdill@machlink.com, or talk to any of the MHS band students. Walk-ins are welcome at the band’s “nut house” at 1600 Plaza Place. Hours are every Tues. evening from 6-7:30 pm and Sat. morning from 10 am till noon until Dec. 20, so buy now before we run out!

• Salvation Army is in need of bell ringers during their Red Kettle Campaign. Bell ringing begins on Nov. 18 through Dec. 24. Inside and outside sites are available. If interested or for more information, please contact Sissy at 563-263-8272.
