  • Seniors Athlete Signing Day Ceremony: Seniors, you may or may not know that MHS has traditionally had one ‘signing day’ recognition ceremony for our student athletes. This date was typically in late April or early May. Last year due to COVID, we did not have a signing ceremony. This year we are going to add to the process by also hosting a Fall recognition event so that we can provide an opportunity to recognize our student athletes earlier in the year. We will also do one in April/early May this school year.

The current plan is to provide a Fall ‘Signing’ date on Nov. 11th at 10:20am. This is during Muskie Time and it will follow the Veteran’s Day recognition that is over the PA at MHS. A student may or may not have a letter of intent to sign depending on where they are committing. The exact location of where this ceremony will be held depends on how many students we are accommodating.
If you have ‘committed’ already, and you would like to be recognized at our Fall Signing/Recognition ceremony, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly.

    Information to Know:
    1. If you are signing a Letter of Intent at a later date during the school year because of your sport’s signing date, we will not do a separate signing date for you on that date. You would do your signing, at your own location.

2. Students that are recognized on Nov. 11th will not be part of the late April/early May event. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Ulses at
