MHS Drama Department presents 12 Angry Jurors – November 3rd & 4th: 12 strangers must work together to decide his fate. Is he guilty or not? Join us on November 3rd & 4th as the MHS Drama Department presents 12 Angry Jurors. Shows start at 7 pm in the Auditorium at MHS. Tickets are $6 and are available at the door day of show. Box Office will open at 6:15 pm. Activity passes are accepted!

• Students who received a National Honor Society nomination form are reminded that they are due to Mrs. Hawkins in Student Services (rm 14-007L) by the end of the school day TODAY, October 26th.
• Boys’ and Girls’ Bowling Meeting: We will be having our informational meeting for boys and girls bowling on Tuesday, Oct. 31st at 3:45 pm in the Commons.
• Girls’ Golf Sign-up: For those interested in signing up for Girls’ Golf, please stop into Student Services and see Mr. Welsch by Thursday, Oct.26.  You will also be providing information on shirt sizes so those can be ordered and ready for the spring season.  
• Girls’ Basketball: There are three remaining open gyms before the season begins: 10/26, 10/30, and 11/2. All open gyms run from 5:45-7:15 pm in the main gym. Our parent meeting is on Monday, October 30th beginning at 7:30 pm in the Commons at MHS. We will review expectations for the season and hand out schedules for the Freshman, JV, and Varsity levels. The first official day of practice is Monday, November 6th from 3:45-6:15 pm in the main gym at MHS. Boys’ Cross Country Equipment Return: Please come after school on Wed., Nov. 1st to hand in all XC gear. We will be right outside the wrestling room on the girls’ locker room side of the gym. Please contact Mr. Foxen with any questions.

  4 to 6 p.m. at the Muscatine Community College Muscatine Industrial Technology Center,

• Girls’ Cross Country Awards Banquet: The Girl’s Cross Country Awards banquet and potluck will be Thursday, November 2 in the Commons beginning at 6:07 PM. Coach Armstrong

• The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards will grant two Iowa honorees $1,000, a medallion, and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C.
  The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is looking for Iowa’s top youth volunteers of the year. Students in grade 5-12 are invited to apply if they have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service within the past 12 months.
