Go Muskies!

• All freshmen interested in collaborating with MHS Student Council in creating a freshman float for Homecoming 2015, please come to the Student Council meeting this Thursday, Sept. 10th, in the auditorium at 7:00 AM. Email Mrs. Mueller or Mrs. Orr with any questions.
• Recycle the Dress – Homecoming 2015: All young ladies attending homecoming in Muscatine County are invited to attend the Recycle the Dress – Homecoming 2015 event. This year is the second year for the homecoming event. Dresses and accessories have been donated and are ready for you to pick out. It is a no cost event, if the dress fits, it is yours! First come, first serve at this event on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Muscatine Recycling Center and Transfer Station at 1000 S. • Back to School Dance:  Back to School Dance sponsored by Student Council will be held on September 11th from 9-11pm. It has a Glow theme and students are encouraged to dress in white and neon colors. There will be glow stick bracelets to purchase for 50¢. Dance tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door with your Student ID.
• NHS Members:  Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 9 in the auditorium.  Be there by 7:45 AM.  Remember that meetings are mandatory.
• Sophomores: There will be a Class Ring Meeting for all 10th Grade Students on Tuesday, September 15 in the Auditorium at 12:00pm.
• Environmental Club: Environmental Club will have a meeting September 10th, during the 2nd half of enrichment, in room 146.
• Baseball Meeting: Anyone interested in playing Baseball there will a meeting in the auditorium on September 10th. There will be 2 times to attend depending on your enrichment, 11:58 or 12:23.  Any questions email Coach Colon at edwin.colon@mcsdonline.org

• Students that purchased LifeTouch pictures can pick them up in Student Services.
• Volunteer needed to film Sophomore football games. If interested, please contact Mr. Flowers in room 131.
• Girls’ Basketball: We will have an informational meeting at 7:30am in the Commons on Wednesday, September 9th. If you plan to play basketball this season, please attend.

• Colorado PTO needs volunteers for their Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 2.  Volunteers will need to arrive at 4:40 and stay until 8:30 PM.  If interested, please contact Heather Noll at heather.noll@mcsdonline.org or text 563.260.8251.  Please leave a name and number where you can be reached.
