Go Muskies!
- Iowa Law requires that children entering high school (9th grade) are in need of a completed dental screening certificate, or screening form. This certificate/form is available from your child’s school nurse or most dental offices. The Dental Hygienist from the I-Smile Program will be at the high school on December 8 to complete the screenings on students who do not have the State of Iowa form on file. Letters will be sent during November to parents/guardians of students who do not have the form on file. If your student has had an exam done by your dentist or hygienist, they can fill out the form and drop it off at the high school. Call the School Nurse with any questions.
- Students are not to be in the locker rooms during their free periods or study halls, there are designated areas to be during these times. - Students: In order for our Enrichment Program to benefit you, the student, we have implemented the following policy:All assignments must be turned in by the end-of-day each Monday. This allows teachers to review and post grades on Wednesday. If assignments are not turned in by end-of-day Monday, there is no guarantee that grades will be updated on Wednesday which may cause a student to continue to be in Enrichment. It is important for all students to check their student e-mail everyday, but specifically each Monday morning by 4th period, to see if you are scheduled to be in enrichment. This is very important as enrichment begins on that same day (Monday). Students already assigned to enrichment will not be notified weekly unless they are no longer assigned to enrichment. You will be receiving an email from your grade level counselor telling you which enrichment to attend. You will get this email if you are new to enrichment or if your enrichment class has changed.
