Congratulations to Kealy Nienhaus for winning the school-wide Geography Bee!

Tech Crew applications for the Musical Annie are available in the choir room. Please fill it out, make sure parents sign it, and have it returned by Monday, January 22nd to Mr. Swartzendruber. Students selected will be notified by email on Monday night. Practices will start for Tech crew on Wednesday, January 24th. Late Applications will not be accepted.

“The MHS Color Guard would like to invite 6th – 8th graders to come join our Winter Guard program. You’ll get the opportunity to learn about our colorguard and try basic equipment skills.  We meet Thursday evenings from 7-8:15pm in FBC’s gym at 3003 Mulberry Ave.  Please use the back doors on the west side of the building (Mulberry School side).  You can join us for one or all of the following dates – January 18th & 25th, February 1st, 15th, & 22nd.  We look forward to you joining us.”

Muscatine Middle School Drama Presents ANNIE JR., the musical.  This 70-minute version has all the great songs and characters from the original show!  Performances will be held at Central Auditorium on Friday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 3rd at 7:00 pm.

Tickets are $5 for everyone aged 6 and up – those 5 and under do not need a ticket and may attend for FREE!   Tickets will be sold in advance from the main offices at both West and Central during regular school hours beginning Monday, January 22 up through Thursday, February 1st.  Tickets will be sold at the door on 2/2 and 2/3, with the box office opening at 6:15 pm.  All seats are general admission.   Plan to join us for this fun, family-friendly musical about the adventures of Little Orphan Annie!
