Please join West Middle School in honoring the brave men and women who have served our country by attending our Veteran’s Assembly.  This year’s assembly will be held Friday, November 10 at 9:00 in our big gym.  Seating in chairs on the gym floor will be available for all visitors.  After the assembly all veterans  and their families are welcome to a reception in our library with cookies and beverages.  Students are encouraged to invite a veteran they know to join us for the assembly.  Students who bring a veteran will also be invited to attend the reception afterwards with their guest of honor.

Every student is encouraged to participate that day by wearing a specific color to help make our gym more patriotic:

6th grade- red

7th grade- white

8th grade- blue

Attention all WMS students: The Middle School musical this year is “Annie Jr.” Students should go to www.muskiechoir.com to sign up for audition times and they can get the audition materials there as well. Auditions are November 7^th in the choir room at 3:30. Call backs will be November 9^th. Auditions are open to anyone 6^th to 8^th grade.

Muskie Wrestling Club has registration forms in the Attendance office. The club is open to all ages, Pre-K to 8^th grade regardless of experience. Registration for 2017-2018 MWC season will be held at West Middle School Tuesday, October 17^th and Thursday, October 19^th 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

We are doing something new this year.  If you don’t have your yearbook ordered by Winter Break you may not get another chance to order.  So…. If your parents did not pay for a yearbook at registration you need to bring your $16 to the main office and tell Ms. Dee you want a totally awesome yearbook to remember your 6th, 7th or 8th grade year at West Middle School.  If you aren’t sure if you already ordered a yearbook see Ms. Dee or Mr. Yerington and they can tell you.

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
