Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Nov. 2 – 2 hour early dismissal

The MHS Drama Departments presents  “A Murder Is Announced” by Agatha Christie.  Plan to join us for this suspenseful whodunnit on November 6 & 7 at 7pm in the MHS auditorium.  Tickets are available at the door for $5 each; activity passes will be accepted.  Box office opens at 6:15 pm. Cautions: the show includes gunshots and a short period of total darkness.

Pearl City Power Volleyball Club Tryouts Dates: October 25th and November 1st
When: See times below for grade appropriate
Where: West Middle School new gym
Who: Girls in 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade who are interested in club volleyball November 2015 through March 2016

Schedule for both days:
2:00- 9th, 10th, and 11th grade check-in ready to go
3:00- Finished

2:30-8th grade (U14) check-in 2:45-Ready to go and warm up
4:00-8th Grade Finished

3:30-7th grade (u13) check-in 3:45-Ready to go and warm up
5:00-7th Grade Finished

4:30-6th grade (U12) check-in 4:45-Ready to go and start warm up
6:00-6th Grade finished

Rules: 1. All bags, cell phones, etc left in hallway 2. Water/Gatorade are the only things needed in gym 3. No parents allowed in the gym. Welcome to wait in hallway outside gym. 4. Attire: knee pads must be worn and no jewelry at all! Suggest shorts or sweat pants and t-shirt. 5. Players are encouraged to attend both days of tryouts. Contact Brian

Check out the information on the West Middle School “Virtual Backpack” (located on the WMS website) for the 2015 Turkey Trot Fun Run. You can print off a registration form there.

Practices for Wrestling and Girl’s Basketball will start on Monday, October 26^th. You MUST have a physical, waiver and concussion form on file in the attendance office to participate.

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
